I obtained a Bachelors degree in Education with a minor in mathematics from Eastern New Mexico University. I then continued my education and earned a Masters in Educational Literacy from Wayland Baptist Univeristy. I have since completed a Principal Leadership Development course where I earned my Administrators license.

I met my husband in 2007 and we married three years later in 2010 (easy to count up the number of years we have been married :) ). We have two beautiful girls that attend Melrose Elementary.

Our family loves to ride horses and rodeo. The events we compete in are team roping, breakaway roping, calf roping, barrel racing, pole bending, and the two children want to tie some goats in years to come!

When we aren’t rodeoing you can usually find us doing anything outdoors but we also love going to the lake on fishing/camping trips!
